Bantierra, a Spanish savings bank cooperative with 325 branches across Aragon, Catalonia, La Rioja, Valencia and Madrid and a member of the Caja Rural Group, needed better reporting and business intelligence to monitor operational activity, share insights across business units and commercial managers, analyze customer behavior and government portfolios, and improve customer satisfaction while reducing churn.

Working with Information Builders, Bantierra deployed WebFOCUS (Reporting Server, ReportCaster, Active Technologies, Oracle adapter and professional services) to build dashboards and operational scorecards—such as Shuttle, Transactional Analysis Channel and Segments—that consolidate data from multiple sources and surface customer, employee and campaign insights. The solution improved visibility and accountability across the 325‑office network, sped response to new opportunities, enhanced customer service and is being extended (including planned mobile access) to broaden its impact.
