ICIC Reduces Risk With Self-Service Reporting Environment

Israeli Credit Insurance Company (ICIC) is Israel’s leading credit insurer, protecting more than $11 billion in trade credit across 115 countries for about 500 policyholders. Facing ownership-driven IT changes, ICIC had just four months to replace its Java-based reporting system and deliver a versatile, secure reporting environment (about 50 reports) that let customers identify, analyze, and reduce credit exposure while preserving response time and usability.

ICIC built ICIC Online using Information Builders’ WebFOCUS (Active Reports/Active Dashboards) with implementation help from SRL, delivering interactive, self-service reports that can be emailed, used offline, drilled into, and exported to Excel. The multilingual, OTP-secured solution now serves ~600 registered users, reduces developer workload, speeds new-report deployment to as little as a day, and gives policyholders better exposure management and ICIC a clear competitive edge.
