IBI Group Gains Consolidated View of Globally Dispersed Enterprise

IBI Group is a globally integrated architecture, planning, engineering, and technology firm with 69 offices and more than 2,400 employees. Rapid growth through acquisitions left the company with disparate systems, disconnected processes, and islands of information, making it difficult to consolidate financials, monitor billable time and utilization, and unify currencies, fiscal calendars, and time zones.

IBI implemented Information Builders’ WebFOCUS and DataMigrator (with Pro Server, Portal, Active Technologies) and built a SQL Server data warehouse to cleanse and combine data from ERP, HR, forecasting and homegrown systems. The rollout delivered 50+ interactive dashboards and 25 role-based views for ~150 users, giving executives and managers an enterprise-wide view of KPIs (utilization, capacity, DSO, expenses), automated reports, faster trend detection, and more confident, proactive decision-making.
