Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure, which provides mission- and business-critical software to governments and service providers, struggled to give senior management timely, accurate insight because key data was scattered across disparate systems (Salesforce, Siebel, multiple finance systems) with limited reporting capabilities. This fragmented environment made it difficult to get a unified, actionable view of customers, finances, pipeline and support operations.

Hexagon deployed Information Builders’ WebFOCUS platform (with iWay DataMigrator and Hyperstage) to build the Safety & Infrastructure Business Intelligence (SIBI) application—four intuitive portals (Customer 360, Finance, Pipeline, Maintenance & Support). Launched quickly (first two in 10 weeks), the portals deliver dashboards, drill-downs, advanced filters and sharing, giving leaders timely, complete information that improves decision-making, pipeline forecasting and maintenance-renewal outreach.
