Firma Foreign Exchange is an Edmonton-based global payments firm that helps small and medium-sized businesses move currency worldwide. Facing a transaction-heavy operation, Firma needed to streamline secure, dynamic analytics for traders, managers and executives—and to replace manually produced monthly statements with a customer-facing solution that provided transparent, interactive access to account data.

Using Information Builders’ stack (WebFOCUS, AppStudio, Active Technologies, DataMigrator and In-Document Analytics), Firma built a consolidated data mart, an internal analytics portal with role-based access, and personalized interactive e‑Statements that are emailed as self-contained HTML files. The result: automated, scalable delivery of thousands of statements monthly, faster local analysis for customers, reduced workload for staff (previously three people managed statements), and business users spending less time wrangling data and more time on insights.
