Central Parking System (CPS) is a leading U.S. parking-management provider operating about 2,200 facilities with 15,000 employees and $1.5 billion in annual receipts. CPS struggled with disconnected, static reports and inconsistent definitions that made it difficult for managers to access timely, accurate financial and operational metrics for weekly reviews and decision-making.

CPS implemented Information Builders’ WebFOCUS BI platform—building a SQL Server/SSAS data cube and interactive dashboards that pull from multiple systems—to provide real-time, on-demand financial and operational views to roughly 750 users. The centralized BI solution improved reporting consistency and visibility, reduced manual errors and fraud risk, accelerated decision-making, and paved the way for advanced analytics and customer-facing dashboards.
