AcuSport, a Bellefontaine, Ohio–based distributor of hunting and shooting sports products, faced growing complexity from custom-coded interfaces, multiple document formats and protocols, and an aging EDI system. The company needed to streamline exchange of item, order and inventory data with hundreds of manufacturers and retailers, reduce manual translation work, and automate business processes across its IBM iSeries ERP and PIM systems.

AcuSport standardized on iWay Software’s B2B and BPA suites (with Professional Services), replacing its legacy Gentran EDI and custom point-to-point code. iWay translated complex XML and Excel feeds, automated FedEx and vendor transactions, and introduced monitoring and acknowledgements.
