U.S. Xpress, a Tennessee-based leader in time-definite truckload services with 6,000 tractors, 14,000+ trailers and 8,000 employees, needed to cut fuel costs, boost operating margins and eliminate wasted engine idle time. Using a unified Informatica data quality environment (including Data Quality, Data Explorer, Identity Match and Address Verification), U.S. Xpress cleaned and standardized location and maintenance data, engaged the business in data quality processes and deployed the solution in 4.5 months.
