Twitch, the live multiplayer-entertainment platform founded in 2011, needed to modernize its integration architecture to support rapid user growth and a complex mix of on-premises and cloud applications. Its primary challenges were to speed streamer payments from a two-week cycle to a single day and to eliminate fragile point-to-point integrations in favor of reusable, efficient integration development.

Twitch adopted Informatica’s iPaaS—Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and the Cloud Integration Hub—to provide enterprise-wide, real-time connectivity (including to SAP Hybris and 15–20 critical systems). The result was improved operational efficiency, faster payment processing, and a reusable pub/sub integration layer that reduced integration complexity across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
