Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB) is a major private Turkish bank with more than 500 branches that expanded its retail footprint after a 2011 merger with Fortis Bank Turkey. To support cross-selling and multichannel marketing, TEB needed reliable customer segmentation and analytics but found data quality problems that threatened campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.

TEB formed a Data Strategy Committee and deployed Informatica Data Quality with local integrator KOMTAŞ to cleanse and govern customer demographic, legal and contact data, and to give business users control of data rules. The program improved targeting and campaign efficiency, reduced misdirected mailings and manual fixes, enabled real‑time corrections at branches, and increased customer satisfaction by providing more accurate, personalized service.
