Empowering Lives and Building Communities with Data MTVH Uses Data to Help Address England’s Housing Needs

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) is a large nonprofit landlord serving London and surrounding regions with a mission of “People Powered Living.” Facing fragmented data across about 300 backend systems, spreadsheets and a legacy warehouse, MTVH needed a consolidated, trusted view of tenant and property data, simpler data movement away from point-to-point integrations, and faster access for staff to better respond to England’s acute housing needs — a challenge made urgent by the COVID‑19 crisis.

MTVH implemented Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services with Cloud Integration Hub and moved its data to a Snowflake data lake on AWS to create a centralized, automated, publish‑subscribe data platform. The result is trusted, self‑service access for housing officers and other teams, faster resident support during COVID, easier secure sharing with partners and regulators, reduced integration costs and contractors, and a modern data foundation that improves productivity and enables future smart‑city and analytics initiatives.
