Emirates NBD, a leading regional banking group with a strong digital-first presence across the UAE and international markets, needed a single data platform to serve its multi-entity, geographically distributed operations. The bank faced a complex environment—over 6,000 relational tables transformed and ingested into Hadoop and a combined Hadoop/SAP architecture—and sought to leverage data to improve customer experience and support scalable growth.

Informatica implemented automated design‑time configurations, scheduling, orchestration, recovery, audit and reconciliation, plus dynamic mapping templates and parameterized Big Data Management for repeatable ingestion. An SAP HANA pushdown solution delivered ~80% pushdown at ~200,000 rows/second.
