De Mandemakers Group (DMG) is a leading Netherlands-based retailer of kitchens, bathrooms and home furnishings with more than 5,000 employees and a long-standing commitment to exceptional customer service. Rapidly expanding product ranges, shorter product lifecycles and fragmented data — stored across ERP systems, supplier PDFs, spreadsheets and multiple databases — made it hard to present consistent product information, confusing customers and complicating sales, logistics and marketing.
To solve this, DMG implemented Informatica MDM – Product 360 to create a single product data platform, onboard supplier catalogs, build a supplier portal and capture employee knowledge, while driving company-wide adoption. The initiative created one golden record per product and centralized publishing to e‑commerce and print (40,000 supplier records to date; 10 suppliers connected, 100 more planned), delivering clearer product communication, more personalized service, higher conversion, fewer returns and errors, lower costs and improved cross‑department efficiencies that boosted revenue and customer satisfaction.
