BMC Software needed to modernize its data platform from PowerCenter to the cloud while preserving existing business logic and mappings. To do that, BMC worked with Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and sought a faster, less disruptive path to move its data warehouse operations.

Informatica implemented a Migration Factory approach to help BMC move from PowerCenter to IDMC quickly and smoothly. The result was a cloud migration completed in 6 months at nearly half the cost, while also increasing cloud data availability and creating room for future innovation.
