AIA Singapore Automates Data Delivery, Personalizing Customer Interactions

AIA Singapore, a leading life insurer, needed deeper customer insights to deliver more personalized interactions but was hampered by fragmented data, inconsistent business definitions, limited lineage visibility, and variable data quality that constrained sales, analytics, and operational efficiency.

To address this, AIA formed a Data Governance Council and implemented Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality and PowerCenter to create a collaborative business glossary, automatically scan and index metadata, and run automated profiling and remediation across key data elements. The result is a single set of enterprise definitions, end-to-end data lineage, consistently improved data quality, better-informed agents and decision-makers, and reduced operational costs, with plans to expand governance to policies, claims, investments and finance.
