Manroland increases service rate from 75% to 85-90% with INFORM GmbH

manroland web production, a printing press manufacturer, faced a challenge when support for its previous production planning system was discontinued. The company needed a new solution to digitalize its production and procurement processes as part of its Industry 4.0 smart factory strategy. They turned to vendor INFORM GmbH and implemented their FELIOS production planning tool.

INFORM implemented FELIOS as an add-on to manroland's existing SAP ERP system. The solution provided greater transparency and flexibility, calculating optimal production sequences by taking all resources and capacities into account. As a result of working with INFORM, manroland increased its service rate from 75% to between 85-90% and significantly improved its on-time delivery performance.
