Yale New Haven integrates patient information with Cloverleaf Web Services Adapter

Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS), the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Connecticut with five hospitals and hundreds of affiliated physicians, needed a way to streamline patient appointment scheduling, connect records across disparate EMRs, and populate patient charts with third‑party data to keep its electronic medical records current and complete.

YNHHS implemented the Infor Cloverleaf Web Services Adapter to integrate third‑party scheduling, real‑time provider availability, and external lab orders with the EMR—automatically verifying and linking patient IDs and enabling self‑scheduling. The solution drives about 200 additional booked appointments per month, routes lab orders/results to the EMR to improve billing and reduce paperwork, saves staff time and vendor transaction fees, and enhances patient experience and retention while remaining scalable for future growth.
