Wanavit Manufacturing, the Thai maker of Hatari electric fans, faced a critical IT challenge: its decade-old legacy ERP had no source code or customization tools and could only handle basic MRP without routing or resource management. After reviewing alternatives and polling users, the company replaced the legacy system with Infor SyteLine, selecting Financial, Distribution and Manufacturing modules (including BOM, APS and Job Order) plus integrated QCS, Field Service and Cognos BI to support broader business needs.

By customizing and extending Infor SyteLine across the company, Wanavit gained real-time production data and control, enabling a more than 30% increase in output, identification and elimination of hidden maintenance costs, reduced overtime, and near-elimination of defects through enforced quality checks. The system also improved job-order planning (GetCTP provides quick commit answers), cost tracking, and logistics visibility, and continues to be enhanced with KPIs and further integrations.
