Van Eerd is a Dutch packaging specialist for the pharmaceutical industry that produces made-to-order, printed boxes where quality and traceability are critical. Facing rapid order growth, the company’s legacy system could not support item management, combination calculations, planning, invoicing, integration with prepress systems, or the data volume needed to guarantee quality and responsiveness.

Van Eerd implemented Infor SyteLine, retrained users, and redesigned processes to fit standard functionality with minimal customizations. Order intake was automated and integrated with the Computer-to-Plate workflow, cutting order-entry delays from about 48 hours to minutes, reducing staff handling the process from six to three, and enabling automated planning for ~15,000 annual orders. The result was faster production, clearer stock and order visibility, lower costs, and improved productivity and quality control.
