Transformers & Rectifiers India Limited (T&R), founded in 1994, is a manufacturer of power, distribution, furnace and specialty transformers with a large Changodar plant capable of up to 160 MVA (and testing to 765 kV). Facing rapid growth in the Indian transformer market and the addition of a new plant, T&R needed to control costs, improve performance and profitability, meet customer expectations, and consolidate business processes across sites.

T&R implemented Infor LN ERP in four months to provide real-time data and link each stage of an order through project codes for end-to-end tracking. The solution reduced data security issues, wastage, rejected orders and inventory excess, improved delivery performance and compliance, streamlined procurement and product development collaboration, and enabled just-in-time inventory—strengthening planning, costing, purchasing and production for more profitable, responsive operations.
