TMS South (originally IMSCO) is a specialty plumbing repair-parts distributor with locations in South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Facing aggressive national competitors and the need to scale operations and coordinate buying across multiple small distributors, the company needed a distribution-specific system to improve inventory visibility, purchasing decisions, and customer service while supporting a multi-site merger.
TMS South implemented Infor Distribution FACTS with services from Earnest & Associates, adopting Gordon Graham–based inventory controls, a part-number interchange for companywide visibility, and shared computing across three sites. The rollout went live seamlessly for 60+ users, enabling faster quoting, centralized month-end close, consolidated payables/collections, better order-entry access to inventory, reduced costs, and stronger regional market positioning—plus plans to add eCommerce using the FACTS storefront.
