Tegel Foods is a New Zealand poultry producer (since 1961) with about 2,300 employees supplying supermarkets, restaurants and export markets. The company relied on outdated, heavily customised logistics systems that required extensive in‑house management and training, and lacked the granular product tracking and data-driven insights needed to support growth and improve customer service.

Tegel upgraded to Infor M3 (with implementation partner ComActivity), gaining sub‑lot tracking, manufacturing order processing, e‑certification for exports, integrations with production, planning and warehouse systems, and centralized document storage. The result was far better traceability and cost visibility, richer data for business intelligence and faster response to recalls, plus smoother high‑volume operations and plans to move to M3 Cloud and expand integrations.
