RTC, Inc., a 70‑year‑old U.S. manufacturer of custom in‑store programs for major brands and retailers, needed better visibility and control across its order‑to‑cash cycle to meet tighter customer deadlines and streamline separate account services, order entry, shipment planning, and invoicing groups. The company determined its ERP framework was sound but required integrated functionality to show order status, shortages, and shipment readiness across the organization.

RTC upgraded to Infor LN and deployed it to about 120 users across finance, planning, order management, manufacturing and warehousing, using dashboards and the dynamic enterprise modeler for easier navigation and process visibility. Implementation finished in six months, users were proficient within three months, and RTC recorded its biggest shipping quarter ever—without adding staff to order entry, account services, or buyers—and reported improved productivity, no system glitches, and plans to extend the solution internationally.
