Puerto Rico Supplies Group improves productivity with Infor Distribution A+

Puerto Rico Supplies Group (PRSG) is one of Puerto Rico’s largest distributors, supplying groceries, personal care, fragrances, cigarettes and more to supermarkets, pharmacies and convenience stores. As the business grew and acquired new lines, PRSG faced the challenge of consolidating multiple operations and warehouses (reducing eight to three and merging six into one) while standardizing processes and introducing new warehouse technologies.

PRSG retained and expanded its use of Infor Distribution A+ alongside a warehouse management system, RFID, picking tools and mobile sales integration to unify operations in a new 200,000 sq. ft. facility. The result: picker productivity rose 44% (refrigerated) and 85% (dry), receiving productivity improved 57–62%, on-time/in-full deliveries increased 23%, gross revenues grew ~10%, integration times shortened dramatically, and errors fell thanks to automation.
