Legacy Health bolsters patient care with Infor Cloverleaf

Legacy Health, a nonprofit regional health system serving the Portland–Vancouver area with multiple hospitals including a children’s hospital, needed to synchronize patient data across Epic, lab systems, PACS imaging and more than 35 specialized applications. The organization required real-time, high-volume transmission of orders, results, documents, transcriptions, device readings and vaccinations to and from point-of-care systems, rapid deployment of data-messaging interfaces, and lower ongoing maintenance overhead.

Legacy Health implemented the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite as a central “switchboard” to integrate patient data streams and connect Epic’s Interconnect gateway, enabling clinicians to view device data and endoscopy results in the patient chart. The solution processed about 4.5 million medical device transmissions daily, cut interface development from months to days, improved scalability and stability, and simplified message routing, mapping and translation for real-time clinical workflows.
