A Infor Case Study
The Institute for Transfusion Medicine (ITxM), a leading U.S. provider of transfusion medicine services, needed to modernize billing to support both patient and client invoicing, integrate outpatient records with its core receivables system, replace an unsupportable legacy platform, enforce role-based task segregation, support flexible product/service coding, and meet reporting and regulatory requirements.
ITxM implemented Infor Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management to unify billing in a single, rule-driven system. The solution automated workflows, enabled role-based delegation (including to non-finance staff), supported billing by individual codes or a single code for multiple items, and scaled from large facilities to individual customers—resulting in faster regulatory reporting, reduced billing processing time, and improved cash receivables.
