Husky Corporation, a Missouri-based manufacturer of petroleum-dispensing nozzles and fueling technology, needed to modernize order-entry and production processes. Key challenges included integrating plant-floor data, tracking inventory with RF gun scanners, improving customer-order documents and online order inquiries, increasing user flexibility, and meeting customer and regulatory compliance requirements.

Husky implemented Infor XA on the IBM i platform (with partner TriMin Systems) and added RF scanning and a customer web interface, plus customized screens and revision/serial-number control. The result was better visibility and scheduling from shop-floor integration, fewer keying errors and higher productivity, professional customer documents and online order status, improved customer and employee satisfaction, and stronger compliance.
