A Infor Case Study
Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), an Australian maker of high-performance cars, identified warehousing as a bottleneck in its fast-moving, competitive operations. HSV relied on manual, paper-based processes for receiving, picking, dispatching and stock counts, which caused visibility delays, mis‑shipments, excessive walking and slow invoice processing.
HSV implemented Infor Warehouse Mobility integrated with its Infor LN ERP, using wireless barcode scanners and portable printers to receive goods, print barcoded labels, pick, dispatch and invoice in real time. The three-month rollout delivered immediate benefits: higher stock accuracy, faster cycle counts, reduced paperwork and increased throughput—HSV hit its biggest dispatch month with one fewer staff member and continues to pursue further system upgrades.
