GCE Holding AB, Europe’s leading gas‑control equipment company with headquarters in Malmö and about 1,000 employees across 15 countries, needed to gain control of a highly distributed group (roughly 20 divisions), modernize its IT platform, and streamline manufacturing, logistics, warehouse and finance processes. The company sought an industry‑configured ERP that was scalable, reduced development and training needs, and allowed a customizable, role‑based user interface.

GCE implemented Infor M3 with Infor Smart Office, using an off‑the‑shelf ERP and a personalized UI to lower total cost of ownership and speed deployment. The rollout centralized supply‑chain and financial accounting across the group, improved operational efficiency, reduced system development and training effort, and established a methodology for future upgrades.
