A Infor Case Study
Eynsham Hall is a Grade II listed mansion set on a 3,000‑acre Oxfordshire estate with more than 130 guest rooms across four buildings. Acquired by Cathedral Hotels in 2005 and refurbished with a £2.5 million investment, the property grew a diverse business mix (about 30% conferences across 43 meeting rooms, 40% via OTAs, and the remainder weddings and events). Legacy reservation and property systems lacked revenue visibility, integration and support, leaving the team “running the business blind” and unable to exploit growth opportunities.
Eynsham Hall implemented Infor HMS and Infor EzRMS in the cloud after upgrading broadband, and rolled out a mobile housekeeping app. Integrated revenue management and automated channel distribution gave the team actionable insight and operational efficiencies; direct bookings increased by 300% and overall revenues rose 32% (about half attributed to improved revenue management), while housekeeping mobility sped turnaround across the estate.
