DHSSPS improves radiology care in Northern Ireland with Infor Cloverleaf

The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) in Northern Ireland needed an integrated digital radiology solution to link 27 hospitals and support more than 1.2 million examinations a year. The challenge was to provide clinicians across the public health system with access to a patient’s full radiology history at the point of care and to boost efficiency while maintaining care quality.

DHSSPS implemented the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite with channel partner E.NovationUK and partners Sectra and Steria to connect imaging and information systems regionwide. The deployment created a seamless workflow for images and data, made patient radiology records available regardless of location, enabled local procedures with remote review, and increased throughput—processing more information faster and at lower cost without compromising clinical quality.
