A Infor Case Study
Cornèr Bank Group, a private Swiss banking group, faced growing complexity as its staff, locations and infrastructure expanded, making pen‑and‑paper and Excel-based facility tracking unreliable and error prone. In 2010 Logistics Services initiated an enterprise asset management project to remove data silos, reduce misalignment and provide a single, automated source of truth for building and technical asset information.
The bank implemented Infor EAM Enterprise (with OpenCAD) and worked with Infor partners to model assets in two hierarchical trees—premises (building/floor/office) and technical systems—plus KPIs for occupancy and resource distribution. The result is provable, transparent data that lets logistics and analytic accounting see exact job counts, occupied versus vacant space, and allocate costs accurately; the platform also provides a foundation to extend management to IT infrastructure, fleets and other corporate assets.
