A Infor Case Study
The City of Oak Ridge, a Tennessee municipality serving about 27,000 residents, needed to modernize its asset-management practices after an EPA administrative order. Managing 34 sewer pump stations and tracking repairs, maintenance costs, and locations was time-consuming and manual, and the city required an easy-to-use, flexible, and scalable system to automate maintenance scheduling and improve visibility into work status.
Oak Ridge implemented Infor EAM Enterprise to automate preventive maintenance and work order processes. The system now monitors all 34 pumps, automatically generates maintenance schedules, provides a unified real-time view of requested and completed repairs, and reduces manual data entry—saving time and money and enabling citywide rollout across public works to improve efficiency and environmental performance.
