Advanced Input Systems (AIS) is a Coeur d’Alene–based designer and manufacturer of highly customized input devices for OEMs across medical, defense, and electronics markets. Facing a 17–20 year old, heavily customized and unsupported ERP, AIS needed a modern, Microsoft/SQL-based solution with a user-friendly GUI and multisite capability to support a complex manufacturing environment (about 2,000 unique products annually, >1,000 jobs in process and ~25% product turnover).
