Chicago Yacht Club is a private club in downtown Chicago with two clubhouses (Monroe Station by Millennium Park and Belmont Station in Belmont Harbor), roughly 1,500 members and more than 130 regattas and member events annually. The club relied on a single manual planning book shared between locations, which made data access difficult, complicated answering member questions when staff were away, created inefficiencies in duplicating events and materials, and left them vulnerable to parking and scheduling conflicts during city-wide events.
The club implemented ReServe Interactive’s Event Management software to centralize planning and sharing across locations, using features like event-copying, a city-events tab, automated correspondence, follow-up evaluations, and streamlined reporting for staffing and vacation planning. The result was faster, more consistent service, better coordination of clubhouse and on-water events, improved member satisfaction and feedback, and more efficient staff scheduling and performance evaluation.
