Infogix worked with a leading U.S. commercial bank that outsourced remote ATM management to an armored courier and had no per-ATM visibility into cash remaining between funding cycles. The courier’s practice of removing and replacing cash created a reactive reconciliation process, frequent out-of-cash events, and a need for more regular balancing and low-cash alerts to protect ATM availability and working capital.
Using Infogix ACR Detail and Infogix Insight, the bank captured daily withdrawal totals, funding and settlement data, calculated expected per‑ATM returns, and compared those expectations to courier counts; an Emergency Funding workflow and ticketed audit trail were added for urgent replenishments. The solution enabled faster detection and correction of courier errors, reduced research time and user mistakes, supported daily GL reconciliation, and allowed proactive replenishment (alerts at <30% remaining), improving ATM uptime and cash control.
