Rabobank Nederland, part of the Rabobank Group, operates a two-site data-center network (Best and Boxtel) that supports 35,000 employees and millions of customers. With thousands of interdependent components, the bank faced the challenge of guaranteeing 24x7 availability for critical online services, shortening incident lead times, and reducing the risk of visible outages that could rapidly escalate in public channels.

Rabobank implemented Infoblox Grid appliances for internal and external DNS/DHCP, rebuilt infrastructure (replacing 60 appliances overnight with no downtime), separated services onto private access routes, and invested in automation and monitoring within an active‑active Twincenter design. The result was reliable DNS and automatic failover, shorter resolution times, reduced complexity, and a more proactive, automated approach to preventing and resolving incidents.
