Pokka Sapporo - Customer Case Study

Pokka Sapporo Food and Beverage, formed by the 2013 merger of Pokka and Sapporo Beverage, manufactures drinks and runs cafe and ice‑cream chains across Japan. The company’s legacy DNS/DHCP setup—Windows servers and BIND on Linux—created security exposure and operational strain because only a few IT staff had the Linux expertise to manage it, making DNS/DHCP tasks a bottleneck.

Pokka Sapporo deployed Infoblox 1050 appliances and Infoblox Grid technology for centralized DHCP/IPAM across Tokyo, Nagoya and the Kanto region, covering about 1,500 IPs. The solution removed Windows/BIND issues, simplified and centralized IP address management and monitoring, enabled remote management of unstaffed locations, allowed batch version control, and improved disaster resilience through cross‑site failover.
