The university struggled with unused or point-use tools, manual processes (including manually updating 800 routers), undocumented firewall configurations, limited IT staff time, and insufficient training—issues that blocked consolidation, change control, and compliance efforts.

Nexum and Infoblox delivered a consolidated solution combining DDI, NetMRI, and a Security Device Controller, merged two Infoblox Grids, optimized databases, and provided staff training through Nexum’s Infoblox ATC. The deployment streamlined DNS/DHCP/IPAM and change management, increased IT productivity and compliance, and strengthened Nexum’s relationship with the university, leading to new projects such as an upcoming firewall engagement.
