Morningstar, a global provider of independent investment research operating in 27 countries, launched a private-cloud initiative to replace legacy network processes. The IT team was managing DNS and IP addresses manually with spreadsheets, which caused conflicts, outages, and high operational overhead; they needed an automated, integrable IPAM solution to work with BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management.

After a proof-of-concept, Morningstar deployed Infoblox IPAM—bringing it into production in two weeks and integrating with BMC CLM.
