A major U.S. national defense organization that runs tactical network operation centers (NOCs) supporting combat and command-and-control missions faced the challenge of keeping mission‑critical applications and services available and performing under intense, rapidly changing conditions. The team needed better data collection, network analysis and the ability to provision and re‑provision contingency networks quickly to support field operations.

The organization piloted and then scaled Infoblox NetMRI, which delivered expert intelligence via scorecards, automated workflows and built‑in best practices to streamline NOC processes. The result was improved network data collection and analysis, higher network performance and faster, more reliable provisioning of contingency networks; the customer is also evaluating Infoblox DDI to extend those benefits.
