Huddinge Municipality, a government body in Sweden, faced challenges with its legacy Microsoft Active Directory system which lacked integrated IP address management (IPAM). This required manual IP assignment and tracking via spreadsheets, leading to errors and inefficiencies. To upgrade its DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) capabilities, the municipality turned to vendor Infoblox and its NIOS DDI solution.

Infoblox implemented its NIOS DDI on Trinzic appliances, consolidating all DDI operations onto a single, automated platform. This provided an authoritative IPAM database for full network visibility and centralized management. The solution saved the IT team many hours of manual work, boosted network performance, and delivered reliable uptime.
