Agriculture and Agri‑Food Canada (AAFC) is a federal department that supports the competitiveness of Canada’s agriculture and agri‑food sectors across some 80 locations. AAFC was struggling with unreliable, hard‑to‑manage DNS and DHCP services running on BIND and Linux/Windows servers, no centralized IP address management (tracked in spreadsheets), and high administrative overhead that threatened availability and scalability.
