A Influxdata Case Study
Vaniday is an online marketplace for discovering and booking beauty and wellness services, helping clients find salons and schedule appointments easily. When they launched a new .NET Core microservices architecture, they faced a gap: there were no commercial APM tools supporting .NET Core, so they needed a fast, reliable way to operate and monitor their services.
They implemented a lightweight APM using StatsD to gather metrics, InfluxDB to store them, and Grafana for dashboards. This gave Vaniday a single control panel to monitor response times, error rates, throughput and exceptions, with aggregated or per-service views on demand—providing quick setup and clear operational visibility for their microservices.
