Didi - Customer Case Study

DiDi, the leading ride‑sharing company in China serving roughly 400 million users across 400 cities, needed to continuously monitor thousands of online servers to maintain performance and uptime. Their challenge was to build a fast, customizable, and highly scalable DevOps monitoring solution because traditional tools like Zabbix and Nagios could not meet their scale.

DiDi selected InfluxData and deployed InfluxDB clusters as the core of its internal “Odin” monitoring platform, replacing legacy systems. Odin’s four components—data collection, storage, abnormal event detection, and data rendering—are all built on InfluxDB, and a 33‑node cluster now stores all time‑series metrics and events, delivering the scalability, speed, and customization DiDi required.
