ConSol’s OMD‑Labs provides a new, simplified approach to deploying and maintaining Nagios‑family monitoring (Nagios, Icinga, Shinken, Naemon). The team faced the pain of manually compiling and integrating Nagios add‑ons and the limitations of distribution‑packaged installs, which are often outdated and lack regular updates.

OMD‑Labs integrated InfluxData’s InfluxDB via a connector called “Nagflux” to stream performance data from the monitoring core into a time‑series database. That data now powers reporting and statistical analysis and has enabled many of the new features developers requested for the OMD‑Labs environment.
