The challenge was to aggregate and display diverse, rapidly changing developer metrics in a lightweight, browser-accessible format without disruptive schema changes.

Citrix built a custom monitoring application using InfluxDB and Grafana—leveraging InfluxDB’s schema-less storage to capture whatever data they needed—and deployed it on their intranet for easy browser access. The solution became the go-to dashboard for standups and helped the teams reduce the number of open tickets and open pull requests.
