BillFront is a fintech platform that provides liquidity solutions to the digital industry, using proprietary tech that assesses creditworthiness from 100+ data variables for clients like ad networks, publishers and app developers. They already ran Riemann for real‑time monitoring but lacked a way to store historical metrics to compare current performance against past behavior and spot gradual deteriorations.

They solved this by integrating InfluxDB—built for time‑series data—directly with Riemann and running it in Docker; a few lines of configuration sent Riemann’s data into InfluxDB. As a result, BillFront now has historical metrics safely stored, ready to be queried and graphed, enabling faster detection of performance regressions and better trend analysis.
