Beeswax - Customer Case Study

Beeswax, a New York–based team of former Google and DoubleClick ad-tech leaders, set out to solve a common advertiser dilemma: choose an opaque, one‑size‑fits‑all DSP or invest heavily to build a custom bidder. The company needed a cost‑effective, reliable Real‑Time Bidding (RTB) alternative that gave marketers real‑time visibility into spend, high performance at millions of queries per second with sub‑200ms latency, and deep customization and control for each customer.

Beeswax built a fully managed Bidder‑as‑a‑Service on AWS and used InfluxEnterprise (InfluxDB) with Kapacitor and Grafana to collect per‑customer metrics, provide secure real‑time dashboards, and ensure high availability across regions. The result is a Day‑Zero, highly customizable RTB platform with APIs and per‑customer databases, flat subscription pricing based on QPS, and the transparency, flexibility and scalability advertisers need — delivering the industry’s first Bidder‑as‑a‑Service and faster time to value.
