BadShark - Customer Case Study

BadShark is a full‑stack software design and development company in Barcelona that builds simple, distributed and scalable applications and services, including analytics and monitoring. They needed a high‑throughput metrics and analytics platform to manage distributed messaging systems across hundreds of machines, but existing SaaS tools couldn’t handle the load and they required a solution with minimal dependencies and zero performance impact on their apps (they ingest metrics via UDP).

BadShark adopted InfluxDB as a replacement for Google Analytics, New Relic and Graphite. InfluxDB deploys with Ansible in about 30 seconds, is easy to maintain, imposes no runtime overhead, and reliably handles their throughput—becoming the foundation for instrumentation across their distributed systems and eliminating prior metrics/analytics/logging limitations.
